In 2024, when I announced that I was leaving Hugging Face as a permanent employee and was available for freelance work, I was quickly contacted by Kenny Daniel. I already had the chance to exchange with him in the past about his starship project hyparquet while we integrated it in Hugging Face Hub. He was looking for a software engineer to help him build Hyperparam, a data visualization and exploration tool for large datasets. I joined the project as a freelance software engineer in late 2024, and I’m still working on it in 2026.
